2025 Year in Review
Increasing our Impact on the Kansas City Community
In 2025, the Love Fund served 10,115 children through our programs and events. We set two new records: serving the unique, unmet needs of 788 children through our Life Essentials program and 2,480 teens through our Sack it for Santa holiday gift program.
Other 2025 accomplishments to celebrate:
Provided 6,710 children with school supplies.
Launched a Holiday Youth Ambassadors Program.
Increased the total children served by 10.7%.
Partnered with 57 agencies and 158 youth advocates to fulfill the needs of Kansas City children.

In 2025, the Love Fund engaged a new group of volunteers to help support our holiday gift program for teens, Sack it for Santa. Thirteen Holiday Youth Ambassadors, aged 12-18 years, from 10 schools stepped up to promote the program. They completed five volunteer projects and collected financial or new, physical gifts valued at $5,700! Their efforts helped the Love Fund provide 83% more sacks for teens than just six years ago! These teens showed tremendous empathy and support for their peers who otherwise would’ve been forgotten at the holidays.
