It takes a village.

Together we can send students back to school with the supplies they need to learn and thrive. The Love Fund has committed to provide 5,000 school supply kits for Kansas City Public School students and up to 1,400 for youth in other districts across Greater Kansas City. Since 2017, the Love Fund and the KC community have united to provide more than 30,000 backpacks and school supplies.

There are four ways you can help: volunteer, donate, purchase a Champion for Children shirt, and support community partners.

$100 - Sponsors 4 students

$250 - Sponsors 10 students

For $30, you can also purchase a Champion for Children shirt.
Price includes shipping.

KCPS Fest is an amazing community resource that requires volunteer support to be successful. Register today to help and remember to select “Love Fund for Children” in the organization section drop down and then write in your company name in the second organization section if applicable.

  • Enjoy a meal at the Downtown or Overland Park location knowing that 10% of sales will support local children.

  • Indulge and share! Purchase back to school themed donuts to help send children back to school prepared to learn. Place your order today.

  • You can never go wrong with this local favorite, especially when 10% of sales at all locations will be donated to the Back to School Supply Drive.

  • Check out one of the hottest new spots in town! They will be donating 10% of sales for the day, but you can increase that donation to 20% by purchasing a LOVEKC Shake or Bowl.

  • The Love Fund will be on air with our partners and friends from Kansas City Public Schools to share the impact of making a donation to support local students. You can join others in helping students start the school year off right by making a gift of any size. $25 sponsors one student and provides a backpack filled with supplies.

  • All day. Grab your friends and family for KC’s best ice cream at all KC area Betty Rae’s locations on National Ice Cream Day! 10% of all sales for the day will directly help send KC students back to school with supplies.
