Meet Jameson
Meet Jameson

Ten year old Jameson thrives socializing, making connections, and experiencing the excitement of summer camp! His diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and anxiety disorders require that he has specialized support to attend camp. With the right support, though, Jameson can fully participate, build confidence, and enjoy all the experiences camp has to offer.
That’s why Camp Encourage was such a perfect fit for Jameson. Camp Encourage provides youth on the autism spectrum with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and discover their strengths while building the knowledge, courage, and skills they need to become empowered participants in their communities.
Jameson’s family applied for assistance with camp fees, and Love Fund supporters stepped up to make sure he enjoyed horseback riding, foam parties, arts and crafts, and more during his week at camp. Most importantly, Jameson got what every child deserves: the chance to belong. He was able to socialize with other kids, make connections, participate in activities he enjoyed, and create happy summer memories. These experiences helped him build confidence and develop skills that can benefit him long after camp ended.
“He had the absolute best time, and we are so thankful again for the [support] that helped with the opportunity for him to go! He experienced a lot of firsts and made so many friends!”
~ Jameson’s mom
